Denver Broncos vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Odds, Preview and Pick

The Denver Broncos have won six straight games and can clinch the AFC West with another win this Sunday when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Mile High Stadium.

The Broncos were an eight-point home favorite at most sportsbooks tracked by OddsShark.com, but there were plenty of compelling trends pointing to a Bucs cover in this game.

Take Tampa Bay as an underdog. In eight games recently, the Bucs are 6-1-1 ATS.

Take Tampa Bay as a road team. They are 5-0 ATS in their past five games away from home.

And take Tampa Bay at Denver, since 1982. In five games, the Bucs are 4-0-1 ATS, according to the NFL database.

Denver was held under 30 points for the first time in six weeks last Sunday but still managed to win its sixth straight game with a 17-9 road win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Over the course of their six-game winning streak, the Denver Broncos are 4-2 ATS and have averaged 30.5 points per game while allowing just 17.8 points per game.

With Peyton Manning playing like he’s in his prime and a solid defense behind him, the Broncos have emerged as a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Tampa Bay had its four-game winning streak snapped last week in a 24-23 loss to the Atlanta Falcons at home. The Buccaneers are 4-0-1 ATS over their last five games, and like the Broncos have been explosive on offense of late, averaging 32.4 points per game over their last five.

While last week’s loss put a dampener on Tampa Bay’s playoff hopes, at 6-5 SU and 8-2-1 ATS the Buccaneers are still very much in the hunt for an NFC wild-card spot.

Not surprisingly, considering their offensive output, both of these teams have trended toward the OVER recently. The OVER is 6-1-1 in Tampa Bay’s last eight games and 5-2 in Denver’s last seven.

On paper, this one looks like it should be a shootout. Denver’s superior defense and home-field advantage should give them the edge on the moneyline.

But considering all five of Tampa Bay’s losses have come by a touchdown or less and the Buccaneers are so strong against the spread, we like their chances to keep it close right down to the wire.

PICK: Tampa Bay +8

Falcons vs. Buccaneers: Spread Info, Line and Predictions

http://tinyurl.com/Watch-nfl-live-here/?Falcons-vs-Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons meet this Sunday in what could be the most fun matchup of the weekend.

Atlanta have been the class of the league so far. The Falcons are one of two teams in the NFL with only one loss. Matt Ryan is finally ascending into the elite category of quarterbacks.

On the other side, the Buccaneers started the season very slowly. They've been resurgent in recent weeks, led by rookie running back Doug Martin.

Here's a comprehensive preview of this Sunday's NFC South matchup.

When: Sunday, October 25, 1 p.m. ET

Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Fla.

TV: FOX (check local listings)

Live Stream: NFL Sunday Ticket

Listen: Buccaneers Radio Network, Falcons Radio Network

Spread: Even (via SportsBetting.ag)

Despite the Falcons' better record, most lines are either even or extremely close for this one.

Prediction

The offensive balance for Tampa Bay might put them over the top. Josh Freeman is good enough Atlanta won't be able to stack the box to try and stop Martin.

Regardless, Atlanta has too many weapons and will overwhelm the Buccaneers defense. Vegas is dead right because this game is going to be extremely close.

Final Score: Atlanta 31, Tampa Bay 27

Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL Week 11 Live

bet365

When the Panthers and Bucs met during the season's opening weekend Carolina was upset 16-10 as a road favorite. After winning six games in his rookie season QB Cam Newton excited the Panther fan base. There were legitimate reasons to believe Ron Rivera's team could jump into playoff contention if Newton improved, newcomers contributed, and key players returned to health. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay appeared to be rebuilding after dropping their final 10 games last year. Question marks surrounded the Buc's turnover prone QB Josh Freeman, and new head coach Greg Schiano. They meet today and the roles have been reversed.

Ten weeks have passed since the opener. The Panthers have been an unmitigated disaster that has led to the firing of General Manager Marty Hurney and Special Teams coach Brian Murphy. Meanwhile Tampa Bay has gotten mistake free play from Freeman, and the emergence of rookie RB Doug Martin has the Bucs dreaming of their first playoff appearance since 2007.

The Panthers dropped to 2-7 last week when former coach John Fox brought the Broncos to Charlotte and dominated Carolina in all phases of the game winning 36-14. Newton has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns and ranks 27th or worse in the NFL in QB Rating, completion percentage, and touchdowns thrown.

As for Freeman, he has helped Tampa Bay win three straight and four of five after starting the season 1-3. The Bucs are just one-half game behind Seattle in the race for the final NFC playoff berth. Freeman, who threw 16 TD's, and was picked off 22 times last year, has thrown for 18 scores this season with only five INT's.

While the Panthers have RB's DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart signed to lucrative contracts, 10 years and nearly 80 million dollars between the pair, it is Tampa Bay's Doug Martin that has joined Freeman to lead the third highest scoring team in the league. Carolina's duo is averaging fewer than 70 combined yards a game on the ground and has scored three total rushing TD's. Martin got in the endzone four times two weeks ago against Oakland, has seven rushing scores on the season, and is cranking out nearly 100 yards per game on the ground.

The Buccaneer defense is best in the NFL against the run and worst in the league versus the pass. Last week San Diego's Phillip Rivers threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns but his interception returned by Leonard Johnson for an 83-yard Tampa TD helped the Bucs prevail 34-24.

This week Newton must do what Rivers could not, throw for big yardage without making the critical mistake. In eight career victories Newton has not thrown an interception. In 17 loses he has been picked off 27 times. The Panthers will go as far as Newton takes them. Thus far he has them positioned well for a top five draft pick.
